Future Pathways offers year round courses in the areas of independent living, vocational, and social skills. Fall and spring classes are each 8 weeks and 1.5 hours in length. Summer courses are 6 weeks, held once per week, and 2 hours in length.

Enrichment Courses
Future Pathways offers a variety of courses designed to help adults with disabilities learn the skills needed to live and work independently. See below for an example of past courses:
Cooking Level 1 (Air Fryer class!)
Besides learning basic cooking safety (how to properly use a knife, sanitizing and hand washing, etc), this class will be focused on how to use an air fryer! Air fryers are safer than ovens and a healthy alternative to fried foods. Learn how to make healthy foods that taste great!
Cooking Level 2
This class is for individuals who can cook some simple meals independently, but would like to expand their repertoire of recipes and skills. We will use a variety of different cooking methods including: stove-top, air fryer, table top grills, and ovens.
Anxiety and Relaxation Techniques
Come learn positive coping and relaxation techniques with Ms. B! Every week will feature a different theme. Yoga, art therapy, and more.
Friendships 1
Learn the skills needed to make and maintain friendships. How to introduce yourself, small, talk, reciprocal conversations and more. This class has a heavy focus on communication and language skills.
Friendships 2
Expand your friendship skills. Learn how to make plans with friends, resolve conflict, have reciprocal conversations, staying in touch, and more.
Adulting 101
This class is held during the day on Fridays for high school homeschoolers with disabilities.
